Congratulations to Tyler DeBrock for winning the IBCA (Illinois Basketball Coaches Association) Coach of the Year for our district! He received an award at the IBCA Coach of the Year Award Luncheon at Illinois State on Saturday, May 4th, and was even able to meet former Illini, Dee Brown. Way to go!

On Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary School, a Timely & Meaningful Consultation meeting conducted by Oglesby District #125 will be taking
place. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing
special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools and home schools within the district for the 2023-24 school year. Washington junior high invited fifth-grade students over to witness a mock trial--The State of Illinois V. Harry Potter--in honor of Law Day. Fifth-grade students served on the jury and found Harry Potter guilty of second-degree murder.
