Grinch and Green Day!
Tis the season of giving! Oglesby Washington Student Council recently made donations to St. Jude, Illinois Valley Food Pantry and the Oglesby Shop with a Cop Program. Mrs. Myer and student council members presented Officer Gonzales with a check on Saturday.
Mrs. Quinn's kindergarten class made Gingerbread Houses with their 5th grade buddies from Mr. Pierce's class!
Oglesby Washington Student Council members participated in the Oglesby Holiday Parade on Saturday. The 8th grade student council members Landon B., Lilah H. and Emily B., led the parade holdng the "We are Oglesby sign." The student council members worked hard to make the decorations and construct the float. Thanks so much to all staff and families who donated items to decorate the float! Special thanks to Alicia Ernat for the lovely tree on the float, and to Dave and Jennifer Beavers for the use of their truck and trailer and driving the float!

Preschool students and families participated in a Gingerbread Night making gingerbread people, doing a vocabulary scavenger hunt, and enjoying a special visit from a Gingerbread person!
