The preschool students at OPS enjoyed a special visit from members of the Oglesby Fire Department and took a tour of one of their fire trucks!

The rain may have kept the preschool students off of the playground yesterday, but it didn't put a damper on the evening events at the Preschool Storybook Walk. Preschool students enjoyed a night of fun with a storybook walk through the hallways, popsicles, a book exchange, meeting the Oglesby Public Librarian, and making bookmarks!

Ms. Coble's first grade students reviewed fables that they read in class and then put on puppet shows for each fable. Students worked in groups to create the setting, characters and retold the story with puppets. These pictures are the building process.
