History was made on the golf course! For the first time, our students had the opportunity to participate in the State series sectional qualifier under our school's name. This was made possible by Oglesby Public Schools District 125 and the decision by our Board of Education. We're excited for what this means for our students and our program!

Marnie, our therapy dog at Lincoln School, brought some extra comfort and joy to Mrs. Bell’s 4th grade students today during their silent reading time. So proud of our students for their focused reading and the calm environment they provided during the visit! It was a huge success and Marnie can’t wait to do it again!

Don't forget! This Wednesday, September 10th is a 2:00 p.m. dismissal day.

ART CLASS
First grade practiced using a paint brush the right way and creating different types of lines with water on construction paper. They are getting ready for paint next week!
Second grade discussed the artist Gustav Klimt and his work The Tree of Life. They discussed different types of lines and the students chose one type of line to create their own trees.

Marnie, our therapy dog at Lincoln School, had another great week of taking walks outside with her fifth grade buddies and greeting the students with kisses and cuddles at arrivals each morning!

Save the dates for Fall Picture Days and Girls' Basketball Pictures!
