The preschool students had their visit this week with the Oglesby Fire Department for National Fire Prevention Week!

The 8th grade students went to the Oglesby Public Library today during history class to do research for their History Fair topics. Thank you to librarians, Lynn Sheedy and Deana Corrigan, who ordered dozens of books for students to assist them with their topic. Students who were not able to check out books can still go to the library to continue doing research with their resources, or if they go with a parent they can get a library card and check out some of their books.

Good luck to the 5th and 6th grade girls' basketball teams as they play at home tonight, Tuesday, October 7th against Grand Ridge at 5:00 p.m., and to the 7th and 8th grade teams traveling to Nettle Creek with the first game at 5:00 p.m. Go Lady Bulldogs!

Please read the letter regarding school photos.

Students who had perfect attendance in the months of August and September earned an extra 15 minute recess to start the day today at Lincoln! In order to qualify, students had to have 0 absences, 0 tardies, and 0 early departures. During the month of October students can earn an extra Halloween treat if they qualify!
Mrs. Ernat's class earned the best attendance for the month of September with 97.8% attendance! They were able to pick from different rewards and they chose to have an extra recess. Great job!
